Today’s photo of the day is Alnmouth TM 001 by paul2210This photo caught my eye because of the great use of light in the composition. The eye is drawn to the different textures of the sky and reflections of light in the water.

The lighting itself is perhaps the most intriguing element, capturing the sunset perfectly.

Northumberland 2011 – Continued.

I took so many photographs when I went to Northumberland in March 2012 that I am still processing them now. Many of these have been Tone-mapped – that is a process to increase the dynamic range. I haven’t been particularly subtle with these but I like the effect – a lot of other people do to – in a sort of “Marmite” reaction sort of way. Please let me have your thoughts:- do you like the effect or not?
